What are our whitewater kayak courses
Do you want to experience the joy of kayaking? Build up your knowledge to get confidence on the river.
We will start everything from the basics to build up the best knowledge step by step. Recommended at least 2 days course to get deep into the details.
The first day we’re learning basis strokes, river signs, rescue situations, eskimo drill (how to empty the kayak) traversing the river and get connected with your boat and lean in the proper way.
Second day more knowledge to understand about the river currents, eddy lines, T rescue.
The next days depending on your and your group skills we are able to paddle different (more challenging) sections if the water level is on the right flow.
Get ready to be a whitewater kayaker, so you are able to see places that no one else!
- difficulty: from easy whitewater grade 2 up to challenging grade 4 (scale is 1- 6 )
- duration: 2,5 hours on the water (3.5 hours with everything base to base)
- length: 5-7 km depending on the section
- requirements: swimming knowledge, min of 10 years of age, weight limit of 110kg

We’ve got covered with the river permit and all necessary gear including kayak, paddle, helmet, life jacket, neoprene suit and neoprene shoes. You will have to buy the river permit from https://gosoca.si/. We can assist you in buying the right permit type.
Please note that we are well looking after our gear to have it ready and clean for the next customers. That’s the reason you should never pee in the wetsuit 😉
The price is starting from 93€/course/person + river permit.
We ask you to bring your swimming suit, a towel, one extra shirt and socks. Everything else is covered.
The meeting point is our base at the Terminal Food Corner at Bovec Airport, Rupa 17.

Free parking is available and there’s the chance to grab a drink and something to eat at the bar.
We will spend at least 2,5 hours on the river, but in total it’s 3,5 hours from base to base.
- You can cancel the trip free of charge up to 5 days in advance. 100% refund if you already payed.
- Less than 5 days and prior 24 hours 50% refund of the total price
- Less than 24 hours before no refund is possible.
